Autumnal Makeup Picks From Lord & Berry // MissBeautyEmily

Hello everyone!
I was sent some products from the brand Lord and Berry which I have never tried before! So what better than to do a blog post with my initial impressions of the items. I received 4 eyeshadows, 1 bronzer and 1 lip crayon have been loving the application of them all. Keep on reading if you're interested in seeing more!

(Left to right: Galaxy, Frost Jewel, Ranja & Philosophy)

So here we have 4 beautiful autumnal eyeshadows, 3 of which are their 'Seta' shadows and the other is from the 'Seta Premiere' range. These shadows come in a round pot with a clear screw lid on top which allows you to see the colour of the product very easily. Although a little chalky when it comes to fall out, these shadows translate well to the skin and are nicely pigmented and easy to blend. There is a huge colour range of these shadows available online and they retail for £12 which is a reasonable price for this product. They last really well on the lid, once applied they are budge proof which is brilliant for anyone wanting an eye look to last.

(Left to right: Philosophy, Ranja, Frost Jewel & Galaxy)

Here are the swatches of the above shadows! These shadows are definitely buildable so you could create a shadow a lot more intense than what it appears on my wrist but this is a general guideline for you all!

Philosophy is a lovely cool brown colour but was probably the most chalky so you would need to be careful when applying this to the lid. The pigment is very easy to clean up though and didn't stick to the skin and smudge colour which I was scared may happen.

Ranja would have to be my favourite of the 4 as it's a true chocolate brown that is very pigmented and can be used for any look! This shadow has the least fall out for me too which I was very pleased to see.

Frost Jewel is the lightest shade of the 4 and was part of the Seta Premier Range. I had to build this up a bit more than the others due to it's lightness in colour but it still shows up very nicely and is a good transition colour for your lid.

Galaxy is the final shade and it's extra special as it contains glitter particles in it! The glitter doesn't really show up in the swatch or on the lid but I would imagine in direct light, your lid would shimmer and catch the light which would look beautiful. It's not as dark and intense as I hoped but once again, this could be build up and also used with a bit of Fix+ from Mac.

( Bronzer Shade: Golden £19 :: Lip Shade: Allure £12 )

Now lets move onto the other two products I received to compliment the shadows! This beautiful warm toned bronzer works so well on my skin (surprisingly). It gives off a natural warm flush that is great to contour with since it's matte. It can be blended effortlessly too so if you're new to bronzer then this one from L&B would be a great starting point. The pan is a perfect size for big fluffy brushes if you would rather use it for it's intended use of bronzing so there is plenty of product packed inside.

You can see from this photo what the bronzer looks like on the skin. It is not as orange toned as it seems so don't fret! It's also not as pigmented as it seems in the pan which I'm obviously a fan of since I would look ridiculous with a streak of that colour down my face. The swatch shows off just how beautifully sheer it is and how natural it looks against my pale complexion. I would definitely consider using this as an eyeshadow crease colour too as it would look great for autumn.

Now for the lip product.. I don't usually use lip crayons as I find they aren't very creamy but I was completely wrong about this one (Shade: Allure) from L&B. It's so smooth and silky on the lips and doesn't dry or fill any lip lines or bleed. The colour itself is very flattering and would suit all skin tones, a perfect essential for the upcoming months.

Here is my swatch of this product, a gorgeous browny red nude. Once again, it's very flattering against my skin colour so I can definitely make this an every day colour! The formula is creamy as I mentioned above but it's still very long lasting and pigmented on the lips.
