I am a huge lover of the original tangle teezer which is a brush that has specially designed bristles to help detangle hair without the pain. It's a huge life saver for people with long or frizzy hair since it causes minimum pain and damage. However, my beloved tangle teezer wasn't quite designed for wet hair. I was given the chance to try out any type of tangle teezer that I wanted so I decided to pick the Aqua Splash in Pink Shrimp, a gorgeous girly pink. I've been using it every time I wash my hair and it's now time to share my thoughts.
So what exactly does this brush do?
The Aqua Splash is designed for all types and textures of hair which means no matter what your hair is like, you know this brush will work wonders for you. The bristles are arranged in a two-tier system where the long bristles help to detangle whilst the shorter ones smooth the hair cuticle which helps to give the effect of shiny and healthy hair.
The brush also has a hollow centre which is to stop water from getting stuck inside (a problem I experienced with my old tangle teezer when I washed it once to get rid of the dirt amongst the bristles, gross I know!)
But what exactly is the point of a brush designed for wet hair only? Using a brush like the Aqua Splash means shampoo and conditioner can be distributed evenly throughout hair whilst detangling it at the same time. If you manage to miss any parts of your hair during shampooing and conditioning then a brush can help to catch those areas whilst also making sure there's not too much product in other areas, I'm guilty of putting way too much product on my hair!

But did it do the job it claims?
I have used the Aqua Splash every time I've washed my hair since I received it and I have noticed that my hair seems a lot healthier and shiny looking afterwards as opposed to previously where it sometimes appeared frizzy and dry. However, I find this brush is very difficult to get through my hair through the shampooing process since it gets very tangled when lathered and it took a very long time to get one section tangle free.
I did use the brush during my conditioning process though and it was an absolute dream to comb through my hair. It distributed the product throughout my hair from root to tip which I find very important for conditioner since I want all of my hair to look healthy. From my experience with the Aqua Splash, I will be continuing to use it when I wash my hair but only when I condition. I imagine this would probably be the case for most people since my hair isn't usually too tangled so for someone with a lot more frizzier hair, they would probably struggle to distribute the shampoo too.

What's my final verdict?
I'm so pleased to have this in my collection as I don't own a brush designed for wet hair. This brush is perfect for distributing conditioner in my hair and I've really felt that's it's helped towards making my hair shiny, soft and healthy looking. The Aqua Splash is available for £11 on the Tangle Teezer website which is a really good price for an item that's not only non-damaging to your hair but promotes healthiness and shine. There are three colours available in this design including Pink Shrimp, Blue Pearl and Black Lagoon.
