I never delved into false lashes until last year.. the struggle of putting them on and poking my eyes out was never worth it! But I've discovered some absolutely fabulous lash brands that make the application super easy due to their style and how they're made and now I can't stop wearing them! I know that it can be difficult to master falsies and even now I mess up but with lots of practice it becomes second nature! So if you're interested to find out who I've been loving then read on to find out all about my faves!
Beauty Atelier Lashes
I did a whole post all about the gorgeous items Beauty Atelier does here and I have since been wearing them all the time. Their styles are unique, modern yet super wearable and easy to pull off. The specific lashes in this photo are mink lashes (which are cruelty free and you can see how in this post) and in the style #Lightly. Their bands are thin which I think is key for any good false lash, the thinner the band the easier it is to hide into your natural lash line and doesn't seem as obvious. The lashes themselves are very light on the eyes too and don't weigh them down which is obviously a positive, you don't want to feel like you've got heavy black lashes hanging off your eyes. These mink lashes retail for £19 so are probably one of my most expensive lashes in my collection but the quality of them match the price tag and can be used approx 20 times!

Lash Unlimited
I think Lash Unlimited win hands down for their non-existent band! As you can probably see from the picture above, the lash band is barely visible which means they'll appear super natural and make it easier to bend and fit into your lash line. The style above is their most popular design is #9. However, I've been wearing #13 so much that they were a bit worse for wear and didn't look too pretty for a photo. I got so many uses out of them as well which is something I do look for in a lash brand! I'm very stingy and hate to spend money on lashes just for them to be used once.. these ones retail for around £3.49 so they're inexpensive yet amazing quality.
Nouveau Lashes
I became a member of the Lash Gang which means I get to try the wonderful lashes Nouveau Lashes stock and also their amazing conditioning serum and eye makeup remover (If you fancy a whole review on those items, let me know!). At £4.95 each, you get a set of lashes that are well made, easy to apply and look gorgeous on. I am a huge fan of their packaging and feel everything about them ooze elegance and luxury so when I found out their price tag, I was pleasantly surprised. Their glue is hands down my favourite to use, it comes in a tube wand applicator which makes the glue easy to apply compared to those horrible squeezy tubes that usually squirt out far too much product! I now only use their glue with any lash that I apply (unless I'm testing out a brand's lash glue for reviewing purposes) because it's that good.
Threads Lashes
Now finally we have Threads, a brand that I'm new to but am loving. Their lashes come in a dinky little container which is ideal for someone like me who has barely any room to fit even more lashes in my collection, yet they manage to squeeze in an adhesive too! Threads definitely seem to have the best variety of styles I've seen from super natural looking to dramatic and flared. These Emiloo lashes have to be one of my favourites and I feel like I have a soft spot for them since my name is Emily and I've been known to get called this once in a blue moon by my boyfriend! These lashes are priced at £9 so are super affordable and can be used more than once.
Are you a lash lover?
What are your thoughts on falsies? Love them or hate them? I used to think they were a waste of time but honestly they change up my look and I feel so much more confident in them. Let me know your thoughts below
