Flawless Face Products 2016 ♡ // MissBeautyEmily

Hey everyone ♡
So I've taken a (well-deserved, I hope) break from my blog since Christmas. I attempted and successfully completed blogmas over here so I took a month off to focus on YouTube whilst I re-energised my brain for blogging! I've also invested in a new camera which takes amazing quality pictures so I hope you'll enjoy the upgrade! Anyway, I've decided to show you the products I reach for to create a flawless base for your face! I wear these on a daily basis (or whenever I choose to wear makeup) and they are definitely my holy grail items.

♡ L'Oreal Paris Infallible Mattifying Base Primer
I go on and on about this primer but it is for good reason! This is the only face primer I've tried that actually keeps my makeup on all day and makes my face look matte! I struggle with oily skin and without this, I end up looking like a disco ball. This primer controls my oils really well and I only need to touch up my cheeks and chin with a little powder once during the day (or sometimes I don't even need to do that).

♡ L'Oreal Paris True Match Foundation (1.R/1.C Rose Ivory)
This foundation is now my all time favourite which is very odd since the first time I purchased it I really did not like it at all. I left it go for a week or so and then gave it a second chance (and I'm so glad I did!). This blends into my skin so nicely and gives a flawless finish (or at least as flawless as I can get, my skin can be a bit problematic at times). The colour range that this foundation line has too is incredible, it caters for pale people like me and actually produces shades that are wearable for my skin tone.

♡ Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (Shade 1)
If you watch any british youtubers or read their blogs you will know all about the hype this product has. I too am on this bandwagon because this concealer is absolutely amazing for covering up redness and blemishes. I also apply this under my eyes so I don't look like I've have zero hours of sleep and it doesn't crease on me at all! I have heard that some people cannot wear it under their eyes since it's a thick concealer but I recommend trying it because I happen to be able to wear it there perfectly. The only thing I'm not keen on is that the packaging rubs away (as you can see from this very bare picture) but of course that does not affect the application or product itself!

♡ MUA Pro-Base Translucent Powder
Most powders work for me so I wouldn't necessarily say this powder is the best among all others but it's certainly keeping oiliness at bay and setting my makeup nicely. It doesn't make me look cakey at all and this powder is very affordable since it's from the MUA brand.

♡ Real Techniques Stippling Brush
Finally, I thought I would include the tool I use to actually apply the liquid products I've shown and talked about. I swear by this brush due to the seamless application it provides and the way my makeup ends up looking in the final stages. I find that this applies enough foundation to cover but doesn't over apply to make your face look caked with makeup. It also blends in my foundation nicely unlike foundation brushes I've tried which leave brush strokes that don't look cute!

Thank you for reading about my favourite face products to achieve a flawless face! Until next time..
-- Emily xoxo
